GoBaku

A vibrant travel website for GoBaku to attract GCC tourists with integrated bookings, location guides, and a mobile-first UX.

GoBaku

Project Background

GoBaku approached us with a clear brief: build a travel platform that convinces GCC tourists to choose Azerbaijan over competing regional destinations. The site needed to do the work of a travel agent — inspiring, informing, and converting — while handling bookings and location discovery in a single experience.

Objectives

Create a visually immersive travel experience that converts visitors into enquiries

Integrate booking flows for tours, hotels, and experiences

Build location guides for Baku and regional destinations

Optimise for mobile — the primary device for GCC travel research

Key Features Delivered

  • Full-screen immersive hero with destination storytelling
  • Integrated tour and experience booking system
  • Interactive location and destination guides
  • Mobile-first responsive design
  • Multi-language support (Arabic and English)
  • SEO-optimised destination content

Our Approach

The design direction was cinematic — every scroll should feel like a travel magazine. We built the frontend in Next.js with heavy emphasis on image performance and animation, paired with a booking backend that could handle real-time availability without degrading page speed.
