Tech101

An affordable, structured IT upskilling platform built for recent graduates and career switchers across Pakistan and the GCC — bridging the gap between ambition and employable tech skills.

Tech101

Project Background

Tech101 was founded with a single conviction: that quality IT education in Pakistan and the GCC should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford premium bootcamps or university degrees. We built the platform from the ground up as an e-learning ecosystem — structured curricula, real-world projects, and career-focused pathways for people who want to break into tech or level up within it.

Objectives

Build an accessible, structured IT learning platform for the GCC and Pakistan markets

Deliver career-focused curricula across cybersecurity, software development, and networking

Create learning pathways for beginners, career switchers, and working professionals

Support both individual learners and corporate training engagements

Key Features Delivered

  • Full LMS with course catalogue and progress tracking
  • Structured learning paths by career track (Cybersecurity, Web Dev, Networking)
  • Live and recorded session delivery
  • Student and instructor portals with role-based access
  • Corporate training module for team enrolments
  • Certificate generation on course completion
  • Mobile-first design for on-the-go learning

Our Approach

Tech101 was built on Next.js and Supabase — chosen for their speed, scalability, and low operational overhead. The curriculum architecture was designed before a single line of code was written, ensuring the platform structure reflects how people actually learn rather than how it is easiest to build. The UX was optimised specifically for learners with limited prior exposure to online education tools.

Results

Tech101 is live and actively serving students across Pakistan and the UAE. The platform has delivered courses across cybersecurity, web development, and IT fundamentals, with cohorts ranging from university students to mid-career professionals making the switch into tech. Corporate training engagements are now a growing revenue stream alongside individual enrolments.
